Me Time Privacy Policy

Last Updated: March 4, 2026

Hi Me Time friends,

If you’re reading this, you’re probably someone who reads our articles, but if you also subscribe to our newsletter, join our workshops, or work with us in some way this policy applied to you.

First off, thank you for being here. I know privacy policies aren’t exactly thrilling, but they’re important—so I’ve done my best to make this one clear, honest, and free of confusing jargon.

This policy explains how Me Time Consult, a one person business registered in Denmark and fully owned by Noemi Apetri (from now on referred to as either “Me Time“ “we” or “I”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you interact with us. Whether you’re signing up for a free workshop, subscribing to our newsletter, seeing our podcast episodes, paying for a service, or chatting with us on WhatsApp, this is how we handle your data with care and respect.

Who We Are

I’m Noemi Apetri the person behind Me Time. When it comes to your personal data, Me Time Consult acts as the “data controller.” That’s just a fancy way of saying Me Time is responsible for how your information is used and protected. We take that responsibility seriously and follow the rules set out by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to keep your data safe and secure.

What Information We Collect

When you engage with Me Time, we might collect a few types of personal information to make sure everything we provide you runs smoothly.

If you sign up for our newsletter, we’ll ask for your name and email address and we also have the country/US state you sign up from. That’s so we can send you updates, resources, and invitations to events you might find useful in your geography.

For our workshops, Do Sessions, or consulting services, we’ll also collect details like your registration information, any comments or content you share during sessions, and sometimes your professional background (if it’s relevant to the service). If you’re joining a paid workshop or service, we’ll need your payment details—but don’t worry, we don’t store those ourselves. We use Stripe, a trusted payment processor, to handle that securely.

If you’re one of our paid subscribers, we might also send you messages on WhatsApp (via Luma) to keep you in the loop about upcoming events or resources. For that, we’ll need your phone number, but we only use it for this purpose and nothing else and only if you provided this to Luma. We do not process your phone number directly.

Finally, we might collect some usage data, like how you interact with our emails or events. This helps us understand what’s working and what’s not, so we can keep improving.

One thing we don’t do: collect sensitive information like your racial or ethnic background, health data, or anything else that feels overly personal. We keep it simple and relevant.

How We Use Your Information

Newsletters

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address to send you updates about our workshops, Do Sessions, and other resources we think you’ll find valuable. You’re always in control—every email includes an easy way to unsubscribe if you change your mind. Whenever you like. We will not email again unless you sign back up via a new offering or directly to our newsletter.

Workshops and Events

If you register for one of our workshops or events, we use your information to make sure you’re all set up. That includes sending you confirmation emails, reminders, and any materials you might need. We also keep track of who attends, who does not, save any communication we sent you or you to us, so we can follow up with resources or feedback afterward.

Consulting Services

For our consulting clients, we use your information to communicate with you, manage projects, and provide the best service possible. This might include keeping records of our conversations or any details you share that help us tailor our advice to your needs or remember our interactions.

Paid Services and Payments

If you sign up for a paid service, we use Stripe to process your payment. Stripe is a secure and widely trusted payment processor, and they handle your payment details according to their own privacy policy. We never see or store your full payment information ourselves—it’s all handled by Stripe.

WhatsApp Messages for Paid Subscribers

If you’re a paid subscriber, you can get incited to the Whatsapp community where we might send you occasional messages on WhatsApp (via Luma) to share updates, reminders, or resources. Your phone number is only used for this purpose, and you can leave the community

Third-Party Platforms

Some of our workshops or sessions might involve using tools like Canva, Gumroad, or Luma. If that’s the case, you might need to create an account or share some information with these platforms. Just so you know, each of these tools has its own privacy policy, which you can check out here:

We encourage you to take a look at their policies so you understand how they handle your data too.

Who We Share Your Information With

We don’t sell your data or share it with just anyone. However, we do work with a few trusted partners to help us run Me Time smoothly. These partners act on our behalf and under strict agreements to keep your data safe:

  • Substack helps us send out our newsletter. You can read their privacy policy here.

  • Stripe processes payments for our paid services. Their privacy policy is available here.

  • Luma helps us manage workshop registrations and send WhatsApp messages. You can find their privacy policy here.

  • Google (Gmail) is what we use to send emails. Google’s privacy policy is here.

These partners only use your data to provide their services to us, and they’re all committed to protecting your privacy.

Your Rights Over Your Data

You’re in control of your personal information, and you have several rights under GDPR:

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you. If something’s incorrect, you can ask us to correct it. You can also ask us to delete your data, though we might need to keep some information for legal reasons. If you’d like, you can ask us to restrict how we use your data or even receive a copy of it in a machine-readable format so you can take it elsewhere.

If you ever change your mind about receiving our newsletter or other communications, you can opt out at any time. Just use the unsubscribe link in any email or let us know directly.

To exercise any of these rights, just drop us a line at legal@metimeconsult.com. We’re happy to help.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We don’t hold onto your information forever. Here’s how long we typically keep it:

  • If you’re a newsletter subscriber, we’ll keep your data until you unsubscribe.

  • If you’ve joined one of our workshops or events, we’ll keep your information for up to 12 months after the event, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

  • For our consulting clients or paid subscribers, we’ll keep your data for up to 24 months after our engagement ends.

  • Payment information is handled by Stripe, and they determine how long they keep it according to their own policies.

Once we no longer need your data, we’ll delete it securely.

How We Protect Your Data

We take your privacy seriously, so we’ve put measures in place to keep your data safe. This includes using secure tools, encrypting sensitive information, and limiting access to your data to only those who need it to provide our services.

That said, no system is 100% foolproof. If you ever have concerns about how your data is being handled, please reach out to us at legal@metimeconsult.com.

International Data Transfers

Some of the tools we use, like Substack and Stripe, are based outside the European Union. If your data needs to travel outside the EU, we make sure it’s protected using standard contractual clauses, which are approved ways to keep your data safe even when it’s processed in other countries.

Children’s Privacy

Our services are designed for adults. If you’re under 16, please don’t use our services without the supervision of a parent or guardian. We don’t knowingly collect data from children.

Updates to This Policy

We might update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in how we work or new legal requirements. If we make any significant changes, we’ll let you know by email or by posting a notice on our website.
